Rehoming Portuguese Dogs

We have found forever-homes for more than 3,000 dogs

ABOUT US

We are a non-profit Animal Protection Association group with the sole mission of rehoming Portuguese dogs rescued by Portugal’s largest dog sanctuary, O Cantinho da Milu, which rescues 700+ abandoned and mistreated dogs and animals on a multi-acre property located in Setúbal, Portugal.

Dogs of Portugal is a culturally diverse group of highly motivated volunteers who devote their time to improving the lives of animals and finding them loving homes. DOP facilitates the rehoming of dogs and cats to local and international adopters both within Portugal and globally, including Germany, Luxembourg, Denmark, Sweden, France, UK and Canada.

We have dogs of all sizes, ages and breeds.  Some have special needs, while others are already potty-trained, good on the leash and ready to go!
