Sami was living his life in the garden where the owners did not pay much attention to him. Recently the owners contacted the shelter to bring Sami as they did not want him anymore. Shortly after this contact the owner had a stroke and the situation became urgent as the son wanted the dogs (Sami and Celeste) to be gone immediately). Milu went to get them.
Sami is gentle with people and social with female dogs but not so friendly with male dogs. He is big and strong and he needs some work to learn to walk well on the leash but of course he will learn. So far he is overwhelmed by all new things he sees, seems like he has rarely left his little garden but we are sure he will settle down soon.

The owner of Micci went to an assisted living home and he left his dog behind. His daughter and her husband live in an apartment in the city and they did not want to take the dog home so they left her in the house where the old man used to live. She was there, all alone, and they were coming every few days to give her food and water. This situation lasted a year… For a year a lovely dog who loves human company was all alone, day after day. They spent very little time with her, just enough to fill in the bowls. Actually when the guy (the son-in-law) contacted the shelter to bring the dog, he did not even know if it was a male or a female.
Micci is lovely, friendly, gentle and social. She deserves much better than what she had! Hopefully a lovely and caring family will appear for her.
