Romy: shy but gentle

Romy belongs to a litter of 8 puppies that their owner left at the municipal kennel of Setubal to be euthanised 5 years ago. The usual story – someone does not care to sterilise their dog and then they just get rid of the puppies, this is not their problem anymore. Someone took out the puppies and brought to Cantinho da Milu. Milu managed to give 7 puppies for adoption but unfortunately Romy, the last one, stayed. It has been nearly 5 years, she has never had a home, she is not used to a life outside the shelter. She is shy with people and needs time to get used to someone, so it is not a very easy adoption but not impossible. It would be like having a puppy with a need to teach everything from the beginning. But she is very very gentle, this is the most important. And she gets along with all other dogs.
