Story, Personality, Others:
Lily was adopted from us a 1,5 year ago. To be honest, it was always difficult to get news from the owner but when pressed she was saying that yes, everything was fine. Until last week when she appeared in the shelter with Lily and another dog – she wanted to give back Lily and her other dog too because (and here she ticked off many boxes, we should have a list like this at the gate of the shelter): she got divorced, she had a small baby and not time for the dogs, she was going to move to another house soon and she would have no space for the dogs, the male dog jumps the fence to the neighbours and they complain… All of it! The bottom line is she did not care about her dogs, she was relieved to leave them behind, she had no books of vaccinations (not even Lily’s she got from us) and the male dod was hurt and untreated, the wound was alreday infected.
Lily understood something was wrong, she was very quiet and sad and when the woman left, Lily stood at the gate for long time looking…
Lily is a lovely dog. Friendly, gentle, lovely and obedient with people, social with other dogs. She is so sad to be in the shelter, she does not understand why she lots her home….
