Fire: no one wanted those puppies

Seven lovely puppies were found on the street with their mum. When they came to us they were 4 months old which is when no one wants them.
People that come to the shelter want a puppy of 6-8 weeks (“so I can educate it because the older ones don’t learn”, “so it would grow together with my children”, “I love all dogs and I wish I could adopt them all but I will just take the smallest puppy that everyone else wants too”). That means that a puppy of 4 months passes unnoticed and then he becomes 5,6, 7 months, he grows and he stays in the shelter a lifetime.
Fire has grown, he is a teenager and the situation is the same.
He is gentle, friendly, happy, lovely – but people that come to the shelter want a tiny puppy or a pedigree dog.
