Leao: what if your dog overlives you?

Name: Leao

Gender: M

Age: d-o-b: ~2006

Size: medium-big (21kg, 50cm)

Others: dewormed, vaccinated, castrated

Leao’s owner died. He was brought to the shelter by the children. They are not keeping him.
Poor Leao… he must have been well treated. He is a happy dog, social with people and other dogs, super friendly and in very good health for his age. He came accompanied by a book of vaccinations, he was vaccinated every year.
But now that his owner is gone, no one cares about him….
A shelter is not a place for an old dog. Once he understand what has happened he will fade away…. Old dogs who lost their owners and are brought to the shelter quickly loose their will to live. Unless someone takes him home. Which we hope for….
