Xeque: his life was so good until now/ reserved

Information:

Name: Xeque

Gender: M

Age: D-o-b March 2017

Size: small-medium (11kg, 35cm)

Others: dewormed, vaccinated, castrated

Story, Personality, Others:
Xeque’s owner died in a traffic accident and his father brought the dog to the shelter. We are sorry for the dog who must have been well treated. He is a gentle and happy dog, he loves people, he is not afraid of anything, he walks well on the leash. With the dog came a book of vaccinations with all the vaccinations up to date, even leishmaniose and heartworm prevention. It is obvious that his owner made sure the dog had everything that was needed. We rarely get a book like this with the dog. Usually we get none but sometimes we get one with vaccinations out of date for years.
We hope we can find a new home for Xeque, with someone who will love him as much as his previous owner did. He certainly would like that.

Mia: what to do with an old dog? Throw away!

Information:

Name: Mia

Gender: F

Age: d-o-b: ~2010

Breed: x German shorthair pointer

Size: medium (18kg, 50cm)

Others: dewormed, vaccinated

Story:
Lovely Mia was found on the street. On a busy road actually.
We often find old dogs like this…. abandoned, so they would die. She was so skinny, just skin and bones. We had her checked and blood test were done, she is healthy. She was probably just dying of hunger on the street. And she would have died. Now she is cared for and she is eating very well. Soon she will look different.
She is very friendly, very gentle and lovely and playful for her age!
Super friendly with all other dogs and absolutely adorable with people.

A guy got a dog from somewhere but soon after he did not want her anymore so he gave her to someone else. This someone did not really want her either.
One day a neighbour saw him kicking the poor dog.
He intervened. As a result the guy agreed to surrender Zenia to the shelter.
So Zenia came to us…. Poor thing. She is very gentle, very submissive and very sweet with people. She already forgave and forgot… She is a bit shy at the first contact but she quickly develops. She is good with other dogs and walks well on the leash.
