Bianca: classic example of a Covid adoption

Information:

Name: Bianca

Gender: F

Breed: x Portuguese podengo

Age: d-o-b: September 2020

Size: small-medium (11kg, 40cm)

Others: dewormed, vaccinated, sterilised

Story, Personality, Others:

Bianca was adopted in June 2021, when people were staying at home during the pandemic and needed an excuse to be walking on the street. Having a dog was a good excuse to leave home legally and also a way to keep the children busy at home and not demanding permanent attention of the parents.

A family with 2 children came to adopt Bianca. We always want to trust the people adopt a dog for life but they obviously wanted a dog as long as the pandemic lasted.

Bianca was returned in October 2021, when people went back to work in their offices. Apparently she has too much energy, she needs to run. But they adopted a podengo cross of less than one year old, what did they expect?

Bianca is a very sweet dog. She loves human attention, she is gentle, cuddly and friendly. She is young and energetic so she would fit a family with active lifestyle. She is friendly with other dogs. She walks well on the leash.

Thembi: big puppy!

Information:

Name: Thembi

Gender: M

Age: d-o-b: 15 June 2021

Size: will be big (now 16kg)

Others: dewormed, vaccinated

Story, Personality, Others:

Thembi was found on the road. The person that found him went to nearby houses to ask if anyone knew the dog but noone did. Noone is looking for him… one more abandoned puppy then.

Thembi is very sweet and gentle. He trusts people and he likes cuddles. He is friendly with other dogs. No doubt he has had a home until recently but now he is homeless. Maybe he grew too much! As he will be a big dog.

Lexa: sweet little puppy

Lexa was surrendered to the shelter with her siblings by someone who did not have their dog sterilised, she had puppies, and the only plan they had was to dump the puppies in the shelter.

Lexa is the last of the puppies, the siblings have been adopted. She is very sweet, gentle and cuddly. She likes attention and to be on the lap. She is sweet with other dogs. Just a little sweetie.
