Rosa: little shy baby

Information:

Name: Rosa

Gender: F

Breed: poodle

Age: d-o-b April 2015

Size: small (6kg, 35cm)

Others: dewormed, vaccinated,

Story, Personality, Others:
Rosa is only 1 year old but quite scared, poor thing. Who knows what she has been through… We broight her from a municipal kennel in Azores but we don´t know what happened to her before. She is scared but she wants to trust, she wags her tail but she runs away when you want to touch her. If you are patient and sit down, she will finally come to you by herself. Certainly in a home she would develop into a trusting and attached dog but she needs to be given the chance. She is very very gentle.

Dropy: so young and already suffered….

Information:

Name: Dropy

Gender: F

Age: d-o-b: July 2015

Size: big (20kg, 50cm)

Others: dewormed, vaccinated

Story, Personality, Others:
Dropy was found near the shelter, in a very hot today, she was very tired and nearly dying of thirst. She could hardly walk. Poor thing, what she must have gone through….
She is very sweet and very gentle. She wants to trust people and she appreciates cuddling but she flinches at quick gestures and lays down – someone must have treated her badly. But still, she is so gentle and so lovely. Not a single bad streak in her, whatever she has suffered, she has forgiven.
She walks well on the leash and she gets along with other dogs.

Pepe: how come they never considered him a family member?

Information:

Name: Pepe

Gender: M

Age: d-o-b: June 2015

Size: small-medium (12kg, 40cm)

Others: dewormed, vaccinated, castrated

Story, Personality, Others:
Pepe came to us with his siblings, a litter of puppies abandoned on the street. He quickly got adopted, when he was 3 months old and had a home for 8 months until his owner brought him back to the shelter informing that she was moving to a condominium that did not allow dogs and she was giving him back.
For her it seemed perfectly normal, she did not see why she would make an effort and look for another accommodation and she did not seem sorry at all. She was very cold about all this and did not look back even once at the dog.

Poor little Pepe. He must be so confused… And he is so sweet, gentle, lovely and friendly. He walks well on the leash, he is used to living at home and he gest along with other dogs.
