We brought Black from a shelter, or rather a deposit for dogs, a place where dogs have no past, presence or future. We wish we could tell you more about him but it seems they know nothing about their dogs… They are just numbers.
We managed to trace the history of the chip in the database and we at least know that he was left in a municipal pound by his owner and from there he must be taken to this dog deposit but they don’t say how many years he has spent there. Given his age, many. Forgotten somewhere in one of many cages. Neglected. Just look at him…..
He was brought now to a good place but maybe we are too late for him? Maybe no one will consider adopting him because he is old?
He is but he is in pretty good shape for his age.
One day he must have been cared for. He is such a well behaved dog. Very educated. A real dog gentleman. He walks well on the leash, he stops when he is asked, he sits on command. And most of all, he loves people and he wants to please. He is also good with other dogs. He was not a dog running in a yard. Someone educated him… and then dumped him. Why?
Black deserves better. Can we still find a him a loving home?
