Bones: why some people have dogs at all!?

Information:

Name: Bones (Boneca)

Gender: F

Age: d-o-b: June 2013

Breed: x boxer

Size: medium (17kg, 45cm)

Others: dewormed, vaccinated

Story:
This is Boneca or as we call her, Bones. She belonged to a guy that lives not too far from the shelter. One day he brought her. He did not want her anymore because she must be sick. Of course she was! She had been neglected, never protected, never spot-on, collars, vaccinations… As a result she had leishmaniose, heart worm and tick fever. Only 4 years old but she looked like an old dog!
We had first tick fever treated, then heart worm and then leishmaniose in two phases: 4 weeks of Milteforan and afterwards Alopurinol. Boneca reacted great to all treatments and after 2 months she looked like a new dog! The fur started to shine, she put on weight. She also gained lots of confidence and from shy she converted herself into a happy tail wagging dog. She is wonderful. And very gentle.
Will someone take her home? She would love that….

Tasha: lovely!

Information:

Name: Tasha

Gender: F

Age: d-o-b: February 2013

Breed: Boxer

Size: medium-big (25kg, 55cm)

Others: dewormed, vaccinated, sterilised

Story, Personality, Others:
Tasha was found on the street. Very neglected, skinny and with serious ear infection. We are taking care of her…. She is very gentle, lovely and obedient with people and also full of energy.
We recommend her as an only dog in the family as she can be quite jealous of human attention.
