Molly: handicapped sweety

Information:

Name: Molly

Gender: F

Breed: Breton spaniel

Age: d-o-b: ~2009

Size: medium (16kg, 45cm)

Others: dewormed, vaccinated, sterilised

Story:
A woman contacted us that she wanted to be a volunteer. She came twice and then never again but a few months later she contacted us if she can leave her dog in the shelter. So this is why she wanted to be a volunteer… She was just looking for a place to dump her dog.
Her dog, Molly, is 8 years old and she has had her since a puppy. She found her on the street when Molly was 5 months old. But now she has moved from a house to an apartment and she says it is inconvenient…. Molly is old, super calm, very gentle – how inconvenient can it be? Probably walking three times a day is inconvenient!
However gentle Molly is, she will never find a home. She came to spend the rest of her life her.
In her right front leg she is missing toes and in her right back leg she is missing the whole paw. We don’t know what happened to her, maybe she was born like this or maybe she had an accident but when she was found on the street 7 years ago she was already like this.
This does not prevent her from walking and running. Just see the movies. And nothing aches her. But she is handicapped in a way and that means no one will adopt her.
Molly is a happy dog, lovely with people and social with other dogs. She is extremely gentle. Her previous owner did not deserve her!
