Carli, Carlina and Cherish: so scared

Information:

Name: Carli, Carlina, Cherish

Gender: F

Age: d-o-b: March 2016

Size: will be medium

Others: dewormed, vaccinated

Story:
5 dogs were removed by the police from someone’s property due to utter neglect. They were dirty, skinny and scared. No food, water, shelter provided.
Dogs coming from the street are often in better shape, mental and physical, than those that actually came from a home!
The owner really did not care. She signed whatever she was asked to, just to get rid of the dogs.
3 Puppies were taken from there, Carli, Carlina and Cherish together with their mum Moza. They are very scared. Very gentle but scared. From the experience we know that they will not socialize in the shelter. Their only window of opportunity is now – if a shy puppy goes to a home, it will still grow confident and learn to live a normal life. If a puppy grows into adulthood in the shelter, it will always be a scared dog. But it is rare to have people wanting to adopt shy puppies. But please – consider those puppies.

Moza: she was afraid of us, we were afraid of her…

Age: d-o-b: ~2014

Story:

Dogs coming from the street are often in better shape, mental and physical, than those that actually came from a home!
The owner really did not care. She signed whatever she was asked to, just to get rid of the dogs.
Moza was also taken from there, together with her 3 puppies. When they were brought to the shelter, the puppies were sacred and she was very scared too. But she was showing her teeth and growling when we wanted to enter her kennel. So we were afraid to enter. And she was afraid of us but she was growling. Someone had to make the first step… With short visits to the kennel and not imposing our presence we convinced her that it was ok. After a while she stopped growling. Since then she has never showed her teeth to anyone. Anyone can enter. But she is cautious. She trusts only a few people, those she sees every day, and those people can touch her. Others – she simply avoids. Poor dog must have suffered a lot but she is gentle and she will be a faithful dog to someone that will give her a real life.
