King: he was a beautiful dog one day, now abandoned when old

Information:

Name: King

Gender: M

Age: d-o-b: ~2009

Breed: German shepherd

Size: big (35kg, 60cm)

Others: dewormed, vaccinated

Story:
King was found on the street. He was skinny and extremely neglected. He was dying of hunger. His fur was falling off. He was on the brink of death, really.
But after only 2 months in the shelter he has recovered nicely. Of course he is not any younger, but he has gained weight and strength. His fur grew nicely and is shiny.

One day he was a beautiful dog. Someone bought him and had him. And abandoned him when he was old.

King is very nice, gentle, friendly. He is good with all other dogs. He walks well on the leash. A lovely dog. But there is basically no chance for him to find a home. Noone adopts an old dog like this. He will die in the shelter.

Daisy: how a person can abandon a dog she had for years??

Information:

Names: Daisy

Gender: F

Age: d-o-b: ~2012

Breed: German shepherd

Size: big (30kg, 55cm)

Others: dewormed, vaccinated, sterilised

Story:
Daisy was brought to the shelter by her owner. The woman said: I brought my dog because I don’t have space for her. What??
She left the dog and did not give her a second look.
No space?
How can you not have a space for a dog you have had for years? Especially that Daisy is not young and she is quite calm. She is not an active dog that needs lots of space. She enjoys a calm day, laying down and chilling.
Daisy is a lovely dog, gentle and friendly. Social with other dogs. Lovely with people.

Zuma: people that get puppies don’t think!

Information:

Name: Zuma

Gender: F

Breed: x German shepherd

Age: d-o-b: 10 Janeiro 2018

Size: big (30kg, 55cm)

Others: dewormed, vaccinated, sterilised

Story:
A young girl got herself a puppy. She moved from her parent’s home, rented an apartment, got a puppy. A few months later she went back to live with her parents, the puppy grew into a big a dog and the parents did not agree for the daughter to bring the dog with. So she left her in the shelter.
As simple as this!
If you are a kid that cannot survive 5 months without your parents paying your bills, feeding you and washing your clothes, don’t get a dog! get a dog when you are ready to have your own life.
Not the puppy’s fault she grew into a big dog!
Now she is big, full of energy, needing to run and play and completely confused about being in a small cage in the shelter. Gentle, social, friendly young girl but completely confused about what is happening to her. Not the dog’s fault but she is the one paying the most!
