Bonnie: puppies get adopted, mum stays behind

Information:

Name: Bonnie

Gender: F

Breed: x German shepherd

Age: d-o-b: ~2018

Size: big (30kg, 55cm)

Others: dewormed, vaccinated

Story:
Bonnie was found on the street with 3 puppies. She was brought to us. Her puppies were tiny, very young when they were brought to us. Then they grew into beautiful dogs and were all adopted. But not the mum… The mums always stay behind… People adopt puppies, not the mum. We have in the shelter some dogs that came with puppies and 5, 6 or 10 years later they are still with us.

But Bonnie is just so exceptionally nice. She really deserves to have a home. She is gentle, sweet, friendly, affectionate. She is great with other dogs. Such a great dog. Calm and balanced temperament. Good on the leash.

Zaida: one month stay turned into two years

Information:

Name: Zaida

Gender: F

Breed: x German shepherd

Age: d-o-b: September 2013

Size: big (28kg, 60cm)

Others: dewormed, vaccinated, sterilised

Story:
Zaida was left in the shelter by her owner in December 2017. He moved abroad. He asked for a favour – for her to stay there until he reorganises his life and brings her. He asked for her to stay for a month. A month passed and he needed more time. And more time. And then he disappeared. No contact whatsoever anymore. Two years have passed now. And more will pass. Poor Zaida. She was probably hoping… as were we.
Zaida is a lovely dog and she did not deserve to be dumped like that. She is very gentle and sweet. She is lovely with people and very obedient, she sits on command and walks well on the leash. She is social with other dogs, friendly with males and females, no problem. She is calm and balanced and used to living in a home.
