Nani was found on the street super neglected. He was skinny, he could hardly walk, he was dying of hunger, his one eye was wounded and infected and basically he was going to die if left where he was.
He was taken to the vet, fed and treated and his eye needed to be removed. He is fine now. Well and comfortable.
Nani is very gentle, lovely with people and social with other dogs.
The interesting fact is that he had a chip… The owner was contacted but he did not want his dog anymore! Hunters don’t have a use of an old hunting dog! A dog that he bought as a puppy and that served him well over the year. A dog that was young and beautiful once! He signed the papers that were needed and the dog was over-registered to the shelter. Maybe he can still have a better future.
