Story, Personality, Others:
Sam always had a home. He lived with his owners for 9 years.
One day he got into a fight with another dog. Sam’s owners had a visitor at home and they put together two big uncastrated dogs and thought things would go fine. The dogs got into a fight. The owner tried to separated them and Sam bit her. He probably did not want to bite as during his 9 years at home he never showed any aggression against his owners. But this happened in the middle of the fight with another dog. And his owners did not want him anymore so they surrendered him to the shelter.
We did not notice any aggression. He is clearly unhappy and insecure, closed in a kennel in a strange place. But he wags his tail when we came and he is sweet. He deserves better.

Stan was surrendered to the shelter together with two other Labradors by his owner who did not want him anymore. All his life he was extremely neglected, living in a small space in a yard, very dirty and very small.
He is very gentle, very sweet, good with other dogs and lovely with people. He is actually very active and full of energy, you would never give him his age. He deserves much better. Hopefully someone will offer him a home.
