Age: d-o-b: ~2010
Breed: x labrador
Size: big (25kg, 55cm)
Others: dewormed, vaccinated, castrated
Hera was left in the shelter by her owner who moved away, whose life changed, who could not keep her anymore. Usual story, usual conversation (only that people think that their story is unique and we have heard dozens like those before).
Hera is a lovely and friendly dog. Very gentle, social good with other dogs, good on the leash and lovely with people.
Nice, balanced temperament. She would adapt so nicely to her new home.
Name: Mon Cheri
Age: d-o-b: June 2014
Size: big (35kg, 55cm)
Others: dewormed, vaccinated, sterilised
Mon Cheri was brought to us from a municipal pound, very sick. She had everything. She had distemper and tick fever, which affected her neurological reactions because basically she stopped walking.
She was taken to the vet where she spent 2 months. First distemper was treated and it is a miracle she survived. Then tick fever. And then she had to made to walk again. She used all the physiotherapy centre had to offer – physiotherapy, hydrotherapy and shockwave therapy (this is why on the pictures you can see that she is shaved on her back).
Shockwave therapy is a therapy using acoustic waves carrying high energy applied for the purpose of fast pain relief and mobility restoration.
The result is great. Mon Cheri is back to being normal dog! She walks, she runs, she interacts with other dogs. She is super friendly and gentle – now she needs a home!
