Breed: x Labrador (short tail!)

Size: medium (19kg, 50cm)

Story:
Charo came to us because his owners moved abroad but did not take him. Such a shame, they have had him since a puppy. The dog was probably dreaming about staying with them until the old age.
But well….. he needs a new home.
He is a lovely and friendly dog, very nice with people and playful with other dogs. Good on the leash and happy to discover new things. Very gentle. But lots of energy!

Nigel: no one wants a shy dog….

Information:

Name: Nigel

Gender: M

Age: d-o-b: 10 April 2017

Size: medium-big (16kg, 50cm)

Others: dewormed, vaccinated, castrated

Story:
Nigel came to us with his 3 siblings when they were puppies. Someone had them on a farm and moved out leaving their dogs to their own devices. The puppies had very little human contact at the early stage of their lives so they were very shy of people when they were brought to us. Plus they were starved…. So young and so suffered.
Since then one puppy was lucky to find a home and we know that he adapted splendidly but the other three are still with us.
Nigel is one of them. He is probably a bit more social than his siblings but still quite shy. He is very gentle and used to the company of other dogs. But with people it is a different story. The person that feeds the dogs and cleans their kennel can touch him and his siblings without a problem which is a proof that they get used to and trust the people that are with them on daily basis. But they are vary of strangers.
Nigel needs a special family, someone with lots of understanding and patience. We believe in a home he would blossom… But the home cannot be in a city, we think car traffic and city noises could be very stressy. A house with a garden in a village would be perfect. There are however not many people that want to adopt shy dogs…..
