Carracinha: people are irresponsible

Information:

Name: Carracinha

Gender: F

Breed: x German shorthair pointer

Age: d-o-b: June 2016

Size: medium (16kg, 50cm)

Others: dewormed, vaccinated, sterilised

Story:
Carracinha (means Tick) was left in a municipal pound with her tiny daughter by her owners. In the municipal pound they put her in an overcrowded cell together with many other big dogs and soon enough they killed the puppy. This is when we brought Carracinha to the shelter knowing that in this place the life expectancy of any dog is short.
She was quickly adopted but her owner likes to walk his dogs without a leash so one day Carracinha was hit by a car. The owner could not afford the surgery so he brought her back to the shelter.
She was operated. She has recovered quite well. She runs and plays and she uses the leg although sometimes she put it up when she runs. But it is probably just a question of time and exercise. Just look at the movies.
Carracinha is very sweet and friendly. She is lovely with people, she gets easily attached and she likes attention. She is good on the leash. Friendly and playful with other dogs.
