Rex: such a great dog!

Information:

Name: Rex

Gender: M

Breed: Rottweiler

Age: d-o-b: November 2011

Size: big (48kg, 55cm)

Others: dewormed, vaccinated, castrated

Story, Personality, Others:
Rex had a home, he lived in a house with a garden, but his owner moved to an apartment and did not want to have the dog inside so Rex spent a year living on a small balcony. The authorities think it is ok to keep dogs on the balconies so no complaints anywhere managed to improve the dog´s condition. Finally someone simply convinced the owner to give him the dog which he gladly did as after 10 years of having him at home he did not develop any attachment to him. The dog was given away and the person that managed this brought him to the shelter.
Rex is a lovely dog, really gentle and friendly. He is calm and balanced, an honestly, he could have easily lived inside the apartment, so calm he is. He is friendly with all other dogs and walks well on the leash. Gentle, obedient, intelligent. Lovely with children. Just a great dog that deserves better.

Rex is positive to leishmaniose, but it is controlled and he only to take one pill of Alopurinol per day. He is in good health.

Kida: life wasted… will she still have a chance?

Information:

Name: Kida

Gender: F

Breed: x rottweiler

Age: d-o-b: ~2011

Size: big (29kg, 55cm)

Others: dewormed, vaccinated, sterilised

About:
Kida was brought to us from a municipal pound where she spent the last 5 years in a small cage.
She deserves so much better.
She is old and she probably does not have many years to live even if she seems in good health. Those years should be spent in a loving home, not in the shelter. Already 5 years of her life were wasted. Will she get this chance?
Kida is gentle, especially given that she received little kindness in her life, good on the leash, lovely with people and really good with all other dogs.
