Snoopy was left in the shelter by his owner, together with another dog, Aice. The owner does not want her dogs anymore. And they were already pretty neglected when they were brought. So she really did not care about them for long time but now she just dumped them in the shelter, at the age when they need human care and affection the most. Hopefully when she is old she will have a taste of her own medicine.
People enjoy puppies, then they stop paying attention to adult dogs and finally when they are old they throw them away like garbage.
Snoopy did not deserve that… He is a nice and friendly dog, lovely with people and social with other dogs. Good on the leash and enjoying to be on the lap.

Bailey was left in a municipal pound by his owner. He did not want him anymore. An easy solution. Leaving your dog in a pound. And he will be euthanized.
How this people can sleep at night.
Bailey is a lovely dog, wonderful, gentle and sweet. He is in good health, only a bit older which means he is calm and placid. He gest along with other dogs. He walks well on the leash. Adoption of an older dog in a home is so easy… Easier than a puppy. Maybe someone will still give him a chance?

Ash was brought to us by her owner. She had her for a few years and everything was fine until the dog got sick – she is now positive to leishmaniose and she needs treatment. The time she had her dog she never vaccinated her nor protected her against external parasites so no surprise she got sick. The woman took her to the vet when the symptoms became obvious, spent some money on the blood tests and obviously she does not want to spend anymore… She fed us some story about her being sick herself but the reason is obvious, she does not want a sick dog and she ahs other objectives to spend her money on.
Ash did not deserve any of this. She is a lovely dog, very affectionate with people, very gentle and sweet. She is also social with other dogs.
