Kara: she blossomed. Now a home needed.

Information:

Name: Kara

Gender: F

Age: d-o-b ~January 2013

Size: medium-big (25kg, 50cm)

Others: dewormed, vaccinated

Story, Personality, Others:
Kara was found on the street near the shelter in February 2021. Many dogs are abandoned near the shelter on purpose. She was very neglected. Skinny, starved, dirty, with fur missing in many places. We discovered she had heartworm, she was treated and she reacted well to the treatment as she immediately put on weight. Her skin problem was probably due to external parasites as in the meantime her fur grew and she is much better.

We also discovered that she is a very gentle and sweet dog. Very docile, calm, social, friendly. Good with other dogs. She deserves a lovely home… There must be someone waiting for her somewhere.

Blanca: poor dog….

Information:

Name: Blanca

Gender: F

Breed: German shepherd

Age: d-o-b ~June 2010

Size: big (23kg, 55cm)

Others: dewormed, vaccinated, sterilised

Story, Personality, Others:
Look at this beautiful girl. Her owner died. The daughter brought the dog to the shelter. They entered, the couple with a dog on the leash, the dog walked confidently next to them, thinking she was there for a walk, trusting. And then they left her in a kennel. She was left alone. She ended up sitting in a corner of the kennel, completely shocked. Just think what must have been going in her head. She does not understand.

Blanca lived all her life in a home. She loved her owner. It is possible her owner did not love her back, as Blanca is very neglected. She is skinny, her fur is burnt by the sun, which is a proof she was kept in a yard. But she is confident with people, she is not afraid of anything. She is social and VERY gentle. She walks well on the leash.

It is really a shock for her to end up in an unknown environment without people she knows to care for her. She is so calm, so gentle. She really requires no work. So sad the family did not want to keep her. The mother is probably turning in her grave. Or not. Poor Blanca, she deserves better. She deserves a home where someone would care her to end of her days.

Ted: all his life on the chain. He deserves better!

Information:

Names: Ted

Gender: F

Age: d-o-b: ~November 2013

Size: big (31kg, 55cm)

Others: dewormed, vaccinated, castrated

Story, Personality, Others:
Ted was brought to the shelter because his owner died and this is when his real life started as before he lives all his life on the chain, tied to a small wooden house with no blanket and no comfort whatsoever.

He deserves much better as he is such a good dog. Very social and friendly, very gentle with people and good with other dogs. Good on the leash. Now that he is off the chain he just wants to walk and see everything. He walks around the shelter the whole day. And he is very fit for his age! Hopefully he can still experience care and love, something that was never given to him.
