Sen: found dragging a heavy chain…

Information:

Name: Sen

Gender: M

Age: d-o-b: ~2010

Size: big (35kg, 60cm)

Others: dewormed, vaccinated

Story:
Sen was found on the street dragging a heavy chain behind him. He was skinny and he had wounds on his body.
He was taken to the shelter, fed and cared for.
He put on weight and 3 months later he looked like a different dog.
Unfortunately he gave positive to leishmaniose but it is not the end of the world. He is taking Alopurinol daily and he is well.
He is a lovely dog, gentle with people, calm, good on the leash.
He gets along with other dogs although with other males he is quite dominant and with females he is perfect.
But a big old male dog will never get adopted… such a shame for him.

Snoopy: old dog on the street

Information:

Name: Snoopy

Gender: M

Age: d-o-b: ~2006

Size: small-medium (13kg, 45cm)

Others: dewormed, vaccinated

Story:
Snoopy was found on the street. Such an old dog should be in a home, not on the street…. He was taken for one night inside by someone and he behaved very well. Then he was brought to the shelter. Calm, gentle, obedient. Maybe someone still gives him a home… An old dog is really no trouble.

Nody: neglected all his life

Information:

Name: Nody

Gender: M

Age: d-o-b: ~2010

Size: small (10kg, 40cm)

Others: dewormed, vaccinated

Story:
Nody lived all his life pretty neglected. His owner had him in his backyard. The guy lived in an apartment with a small yard. But the dog never entered home, he was always in the yard, never walked outside either.
The neighbour from upstairs could always see the dog alone, the place never clean, no bed or dog house… But at least the dog was fed.
The owner died and the dog stayed there. The neighbours noticed that the son was coming every few days to feed the dog but it was not every day. The intervals between the feeding got larger and larger…. The neighbours from upstairs started to throw food to the yard so the dog could survive.
Finally they asked the shelter to receive him and the son was only too happy to give away the dog of his father.
Nody is lovely, calm, gentle, friendly. A really nice dog who was very unlucky all his life and we are hoping that the future holds something better for him than the rest of his days in the shelter… He deserves a happy end.
