Pudim was removed from a situation of negligence. He and a number of other shar-peis, a whole group. The dogs were used for illegal breeding. 9 shar-pei crosses were brought to us from this place, most of them extremely scared and months later we still cannot touch them.
Pudim is very scared and when cornered he can snap. He has made some progress and he allows people that see him every day to touch and put the leash on.
He is social with female dogs, not male dogs.

Kim was removed from a situation of negligence. She and a number of other shar-peis, a whole group. The dogs were used for illegal breeding but probably not Kim yet, she does not seem to ever had puppies.
9 shar-pei crosses were brought to us from this place, most of them extremely scared and months later we still cannot touch them.
Kim is one of those few that made some progress. She is very food oriented so with treats we managed to gain her confidence and now it is possible to touch her and put a leash on her.
In a right home she would blossom.
She is very gentle. She is social with other dogs.

Gorda: exhausted by breeding

Gorda was removed from a situation of negligence. She and a number of other shar-peis, a whole group. The dogs were used for illegal breeding. Gorda was pregnant at every heat and her puppies sold. As a result she has huge breasts, she fed many puppies. She also had breast tumors but was already operated and recovered nicely.
Those people that buy puppies on OXL or Ebay should think where they come from! They should think about the exhausted mothers that are only a way of making money for their owners.
Gorda is very friendly, which is surprising given where she comes from… She is friendly, gentle and cuddly. She walks on the leash. She is super social with other dogs.
